Founders Book Fair begins today....

The week long annual book fair started today....I am fairly certain a week long pass only costs $5, so worth that for several visits, as books are added to the tables daily!  

I donate any books I have finished reading each time I visit the fair, saving a special trip, knowing it will help fill up a space I have made.

It's a place with a lovely atmosphere just to wander, stop and have a coffee, look around at the museum buildings, take a mini train trip and check out the local artisan stores operating...

I usually take home a basket full of old books, manuscripts and music books. Can't wait to see what treasures I find this weekend....

June Class......

Here's a sneak peak of the 2 LO's we will be doing on Saturday 16th June 12:30-4:30pm. I have only TWO places left so email me quickly to avoid being disappointed......

Both these LO's have pockets....one has three the other a deep large hidden pocket all part of the overall design. I will also show you how you could adapt these into other ideas for future LO's..

After making an announcement last week by posting this....

 Trina McClune has a RAK on her blog, about next years Christmas event.....why not go take a peak? Ooops was I supposed to say Christmas??

Sorry we are being so secretative! Just know we are both exploding inside wanting to tell the world however all will be revealed very soon.....

Waiting, waiting...

I am not so good at waiting.....I do need to practice more patience at times! Maybe this is a hint at what my word to live by should be about next year....

The waiting is over...I love it when things are fixed. Typepad had upgraded their photo editing service but those of us still using explorer as our web browser were unable to upload photos...so they had the joyous task of reversing it all. Now I am happy.....thanks for bearing with me over these delays.

No go...

I still can't seem to load pics here and several of you have said they cannot leave comments.....not sure why. So next thing to do was I created a thank you newsletter for each of you ladies who attended Trina's classes last weekend but can't send those either! Something is going on here......maybe I have a gremlin in my computer?

I will keep trying.....

Wasn't it an awesome day last saturday?!! Huge thank you’s Ladies for joining our fantastic “Trina day”! Wasn’t it great being reminded about the techniques we sometimes forget to use! Plus you will have left with a whole lot of new tricks up your sleeve and inspiration galore. (I learnt for the first time about the help talcum balls can be when embossing...how did I not know that??)

I am sure all the fun you had will keep you inspired over the winter months, to carry on with your various projects. Yay... for more Trina magic...we will keep you posted as information comes to hand.

I have been trying to add photos for 24hours to no avail, this is when technology which I love to embrace is not fun, plus several ladies have emailed me to say they cannot leave a message either.....sorry!!

A message from Trina: It's a wonderful whimsical LO. We're using one photo. 6x4 portrait. Ideally with background that you can trim.

If you don't have a photo to bring, you can always add it later.

Apart from your photo, all you need to bring is your standard scrapbooking kit.
