Look carefully at the papers....who can spot the ones that are 6yrs & 5years old? I finished these four layouts last friday afternoon and vowed only to use up my stash....just added a few new products to make them more current in style. I wanted simple, as I am not doing the usual amount of journaling on these layouts, to make sure I get finished, all the projects I have on my list to take to Japan with me.
The top 2 LO's have basic grey papers 5 yrs old, the bottom 2, remember those stone & sand papers? Mmmmm I'll say no more, but it worked for this layout & what was in the photo, adding part of a dusty attic fence & some Bo Bunny clouds helped make it current. The baby LO has that gorgeous 7Gypsies bebe paper range (of words, stripes & spots)we had when I first opened the store.....still love all their papers no matter how old they are! Here I added some Teresa Collins chipboard embellishments.
My challenge for you over the weekend is to pull out some old papers that you have, tie them in with some newer embellishments and create a layout! Email them to me and I will choose a winner and send you some goodies as a prize!!
